Had a great day together with my sister last week. We went to the photographer and got a couple of really good photos taken. We had a great day, just her and me, time for us... no kids! We actually finished several sentences in a row without being interrupted:-) We still ate the lunch in a rush, not because we had to but because we are so used to having to eat fast.

We spend a lot of time together, living just next door to each other, and with all six kids it is usually quite chaotic and fun! Love having them over for dinner and we do that several times a week! I sure will miss Stina and her family when we go to New Zealand but our friendship will always be strong!

I know there is a painting, waiting to be painted, expressing our friendship...  I am waiting for it to be ready to put on a canvas:-)

Meya, my 5 year old daughter, is producing more than me at the moment:-) I have too much to finish off at work before my maternity leave. Here is her latest painting!

I helped her with the hearts but she is very exact about how and where she wants them and if I do it "wrong" we have to re-do it. I asked if she wanted the dark purple to be at the bottom or if she wanted 3 hearts... but "NO" she wanted 2 hearts with the dark part at the top! I am soo stuck with dark and light and odd number of objects but I should ease up!  I really like her painting... I am not completely comfortable looking at it due to the even number of flowers and hearts and that it is "too heavy" at the top... but do you know what... that is what makes her stuff great! She just paints from her heart:-) I should do more of that!

Even more hearts are coming off my easel. I have finshed a couple of paintings and I think there are still hearts waiting to be painted. I have not painted many heart before, but this year has been full of them. It might be the pregnancy, or I get inspired by my daughter who loves hearts... who knows? It sure is fun and I have been painting a lot together with Meya lately. She is always a big inspiration for me.
